    How and where do you plant trees?

    For each case you buy, we donate PHP 50 to our awesome tree-planting partners RAFI: Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. and One Tree Planted.
    Together, we plant a variety of trees in Balamban, Cebu and Bukidnon, Mindanao.


    What type of trees do you plant?

    We plant a variety of trees including fruit-bearing trees and lumber trees such as:

    What packaging do you use?

    We only use 100% biodegradable packaging. Zero plastic. Zero waste.

    We take pride in our 0% plastic, fully biodegradable, eco-friendly packaging!

    We use a biodegradable carton box filled with recycled paper shreds to carry your FILI caseThen we stamp and label the package by hand, using a carbon-neutral stamp.


    What are your accepted modes of payment?

    We accept payments through:

    How do I take care of my FILI case?

    Keep your FILI case away from sharp objects, such as keys or sharp nails to prevent scratches on your case.


    How do I clean my FILI case?

    • First, remove the case from your device.
    • Use a damp micro fiber or soft cloth to rub the case until the dirt is removed.
    • To disinfect your case, wash with anti-bacterial liquid soap or Kurin water (Do not use alcohol as it may cause discoloration)


    What is the FILI biodegradable case made of?

    It is made of wheat straw fiber or 100% PLA

    PLA plastic or polylactic acid is a vegetable-based plastic material, which commonly uses cornstarch as a raw material, or in this case: wheat straw. PLA is a fully biodegradable thermoplastic polymer consisting of renewable raw materials.


    Will the FILI biodegradable case deteriorate or decompose on its own over time?

    No. Your FILI biodegradable case will not degrade on its own. It will only degrade in a controlled environment of 50-60% humidity and 50-70 degrees celsius temperature. This is usually done through industrial composting.


    How will the FILI biodegradable case decompose?

    The FILI biodegradable case can only decompose through an proper composting method wherein the material is buried in the soil or under industrial composting conditions (temperature 58℃, humidity 90, with enough microorganisms), the fastest process is 3-6 months to complete the degradation into carbon dioxide and water.


    What does "biodegradable" mean?

    Biodegradable is anything that is plant-based, animal-based or natural mineral-based product. It undergoes degradation resulting from the action of naturally occurring microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and algae.

    Biodegradable items like papers, boxes, bags, biomass are created with the ability to slowly break down until they’re able to be consumed on a microscopic level.


    What does "compostable" mean?

    Compostable means that a product is capable of breaking down into natural elements in a compost environment (home compost or community compost).

    Compostables undergo degradation by biological processes during composting to yield CO2, water, inorganic compounds, and biomass at a rate consistent with other compostable materials and leaves no visible, distinguishable, or toxic residue.


    What is the FILI eco-friendly case made of?

    FILI eco-friendly case is made of wheat straw waste, combined with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) for durability and flexibility.


    What is TPU?

    Thermoplastic polyurethane or "TPU" is a class of polyurethane plastics used common products with many properties such as: elasticity, transparency, as well as resistance to oil, grease and abrasion. In other words, this makes your FILI case durable, strong, and flexible.


    Is the FILI eco-friendly case biodegradable?

    The FILI eco-friendly case is not biodegradable, but it is recyclable! When you're done with your case, send it back to us. We'll recycle it for you through our FILI Cycle Program!


    What should I do with my FILI case when I’m done using it?

    When you're done with your case, you can send it back to us. We'll recycle it for you through our FILI Cycle Program!


    What is the FILI Cycle Program?

    The FILI Cycle Program is our effort to offer a solution to recycling used FILI cases. When you feel that you are done using your FILI case, you can send it back to our warehouse, and we'll recycle it for you! Our team will recycle the used FILI case into a new item (our R&D team are currently working on developing new materials made from the recycled FILI cases).

    When you send back your FILI case, you get a unique discount code for 30% off which you can use your next purchase! (NOTE: We only accept FILI cases. We are not capable of recycling other cases.)


    How do you ship orders?

    We process the delivery of your order through the following couriers:

    • Blitz Delivery for shipments within Metro Manila
    • Blitz Delivery or J&T Express for shipments outside Metro Manila
    • DHL or FedEx for International shipping


    What is your shipping lead time?

    • We offer same-day delivery for self pick-up orders
    • 2-3 days shipping for orders within Metro Manila
    • 3-6 days shipping for orders in Luzon, outside Metro Manila
    • 4-7 days shipping for orders in Visayas and Mindanao


    Does FILI case have a physical store?

    No. Currently we sell our FILI products exclusively through our website.


    What is your return policy?

    We value our customers, and we want you to have a great experience with us. Our purpose is to make products that you will love to use. However, we understand if you don’t find the product to your liking, we'll hear you out as long as the following valid reasons apply:

    • Wrong case delivered
    • Bad fitting in size
    • Visible damage on product upon delivery


    In order to be eligible for a returns, the product must be unused and returned in the same condition as received. You must raise your concern within 5 days after receiving product.

    Will my order be cancelled if I fail to transfer the payment?

    Your order will be cancelled if we do not receive the payment after 3 days upon submitting your order. We usually send follow-up notifications prior to cancelation of orders.
